DevOps
Pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring that doesn't lie.
Overview
Pipelines, infrastructure, and observability built so your team can ship on a Tuesday afternoon without paging the founder. We set up the boring layer — CI, deploys, monitoring, alerts — and document it so the next engineer can take over.
Most of our DevOps work happens for clients who built fast, shipped, and now realize they're one bad deploy away from a long evening. We come in, audit what you have, and lift it to a state where deploys are predictable, rollbacks are one command, and the monitoring dashboard tells you what's wrong before customers do.
We default to managed services where they earn their keep (Vercel, Netlify, Supabase, Fly.io, Railway) and roll our own only when self-hosting actually makes sense. Infrastructure-as-code in Terraform or the platform's native equivalent — never click-ops in a dashboard.
What we deliver
- CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as code
- Cloud deployment & monitoring
- Performance & cost optimization
How it goes
01. Audit
One week reviewing your current pipelines, deploy flow, monitoring, and incident response. Output: a punch list of risks ordered by impact and a quote for closing them.
02. Foundation
We set up CI/CD that everyone can read, infrastructure-as-code for everything that lives in production, and secrets management that doesn't rely on a Notion doc.
03. Observability
Logs, metrics, and traces wired into a single dashboard your team will actually check. Alerts only for the things that warrant a 2 AM page; the rest go to a channel that gets reviewed weekly.
04. Handover
Runbooks for the top five incident scenarios, a deploy checklist, and a 30-min screen-recorded walkthrough of the whole stack. Optional ongoing retainer for incident support.
Common questions
Do you do on-call?
On a retainer, yes — typically 5×9 with extended hours by arrangement. If you need 24/7 we'll honestly say so isn't our specialty and recommend a partner.
Cloud or on-prem?
Cloud, usually. We've ramped on AWS, GCP, and a long tail of platform-as-a-service options. We don't do on-prem datacenter work.
What about cost optimization?
Often the highest-leverage piece. We've cut clients' monthly cloud bills by 30-60% in audits — usually by killing forgotten resources, right-sizing instances, and switching tiers that were scaled for old traffic patterns.
